During 2008 Team Niviuk UK and individual pilots within the Team will take part in the following competitions:
- British Club Challenge - it's a fun, club level competition within the UK. Multiple rounds are organised by the different clubs all over the UK with the final usually taking place in SE.Wales. Points are awarded for different tasks such as ridge-runs, cross countries, spot landings, groundhandling etc.
- British Paragliding Cup - a National level competition for pilots with a fair amount of experience wishing to get to know a bit more about the competition scene. Comprehensive yet manageable tasks are set and there is a big mixture of pilots of all experiences which allows pilots new to competitions, to gain valuable experience and knowledge from the top pilots.

12-13 July: Scottish Borders
1-3 Aug: Yorkshire Dales
- British Open/Championships - an International level competition for experienced pilots. There are usually 2 rounds held abroad and 1 in the UK. This competition is for pilots who have previous competition experience and are looking to push themselves a bit further. This is also where the top pilots compete to become British Champion.

17-23 Aug: St.Andre, France
- Swiss International Paragliding Championships - Steve and Neil are set to compete in this competition abroad with the best of the paragliding world.

2nd Swiss League Open - March 21-24: Location TBA
International Swiss Championships - June 5-8: Flims/Laax, Switzerland
