Spring Finally Arrives In Great Britain This Weekend
The skies of Great Britain were set on fire this weekend by Niviuk pilots from all over the UK. Atik3.s, Peak2.s and Ice Peak 6.s totalled 12 flights over 100k! Martin Knight was out for all three days and flew over hundred Kilometers every day, with his best flight from Long Mountain at 142 kilometers. Six other pilots flew to the coast, the next day, from Eyam Edge to the famous seaside towns of Whitby and Scarborough. Classic skies, banging climbs and Niviuk design aided all these pilots to reach thier dreams over the weekend.
Other hundred K flights were from Milk Hill, Long Mountain and the tow launch near Cheltenham. Thanks to the following pilots Davy Broxholme, Phil Colbert, Ben Friedland, Helen Gant, Colin Hawke, Martin Knight, Phil Wallbank, Andy Wallis and Barney Woodhead and a big thanks to Niviuk for giving us fantastic flying machines.
Flying Niviuk gliders on big days usually ends up in flying to the edge of the coutry with still more time in the day, can the Niviuk design team work out how to make a bigger UK so that we can carry on flying?
